Sikat lantai dengan perlahan dan pastikan kotoran sisa oli dan debu sudah, tahap keenam adalah menyemprot kembali rantai dengan cairan penetran atau minyak tanah. Proses ini akan membuat kotoran di sekitar rantai dan gear rontok. Setelah itu, jangan lupa mengeringkan rantai motor dengan lap terakhir dalam proses ini yakni melumasi rantai dengan cairan chain lube. Semprotkan chain lube di mata gear dan rantai secara merata. Dan ingat, jangan sekali-kali menggunakan oli bekas untuk melumasi rantai, karena oli bekas mengandung kotoran yang dihasilkan dari proses pelumasan di mesin.
